Repurposing Outdated Jewelry

What does repurposing jewelry mean?

Often times, we welcome new or reoccurring customers who are either tired of looking at outdated jewelry or simply want to refurbish a piece handed down from generation to generation. We take what can be worked with such as metals or stones and design around what is given.

Where to start?

When it comes to the jewelry industry, here at Caleesi, we understand it can be scary handing over a valuable or sentimental piece to anyone; so we make it our goal to completely explain every minor detail of the design process to ensure you are comfortable with our work. The first step is figuring out what type of jewelry you are more likely to wear. This ranges from custom necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings and the list is infinite.

We encourage our customers to search for inspiration or design ideas in which they would love to incorporate in the brainstorming and sketching process. One thing to consider is the type of metal you want to use, Yellow, Rose, White or Platinum. While Yellow gold is most desirable, we offer Rose Gold which indeed is mixed with copper to allow the gold color to show a softer blush color or White Gold which is mixed with at least one white metal such as nickel, silver or palladium for a more elegant touch to your piece. However, Platinum is a pure metal unlike most gold used in jewelry it does not contain alloys therefor displaying a bright white finish.
